I don't put too much of a focus on the news side of gaming on my blog, but I definitely keep a close eye on it. I don't know whether I'll do this regularly, but I thought I would list a few recent news items that interest and/or excite me. So without further ado...

• Tom Clancy's EndWar gets a a public beta in November
• Metroid Prime 3 is coming in August
• Geometry Wars: Galaxies confirmed for Wii and DS
  
• Sin City gets a video game
  

I probably forgot something big in there, but there you go. I should really go out and buy Metroid Prime 2, finally. I loved the first game, but for some reason never got around to the second. I'm a little concerned about how the controls will work out, but the did a real spot on job with the DS Metroid Prime, so I still have faith. Similarly, I'm a little apprehensive about how they're going to make the Geometry Wars controls work on the Wii, but I have hope for that also. I can't wait to get my hands on EndWar, and I'm always ready to play something I don't have to pay for. Finally, I was a big fan of the Sin City movie, and even though I'm not quite sure how they'll translate the franchise into a video game, I had to put it down anyway.
